NOTES: Near North Conway, the Cranmore Mountain Resort has 50 trails and glades spread across 200 acres. There are 9 lifts serving the trails with a maximum vertical of 1,200 feet. Cranmore Mountain Resort is known for its 100% snowmaking capability. The Express Quad chair runs from the base to summit in 4.5 minutes.
Note: New for 2008-2009 is a lot of new terrain. This includes the following runs. Oompah Flats – Unofficially opened last winter as The North-South Trail, a blue connector trail between Artist Falls and the South Slope. Roundabout - Take the Snow Train trail to Roundabout, a short but relatively steep blue trail accessed off the South Chair. Tommy’s Trail – A blue trail running from the bottom of the East Slope parallel to Gibson, taking skiers to Beginner’s Luck. Gibson Chutes – This natural skiing area has multiple entrances off of the Gibson Trail. Features three relatively-narrow trails that dovetail down to Tommys Trail.
To reach the Cranmore Mountain Resort from North Conway, head north on SR16. At Burger King, take a right at the lights. Turn left at Wal-Mart onto North-South Road ; follow for approximately 2 miles; Turn right on Kearsarge Street , then right at the Cranmore sign onto Skimobile Road .
